Our Story

We’re two friends from Vancouver, British Columbia who love great design, and love a good night’s sleep even more.

We met over 25 years ago in the design industry, and built a friendship on a shared belief: that craftsmanship and beautiful details make a life. A perfectly tied ribbon. A handwritten note. The small things, done properly.

But when it came to sleep — the place we spend a third of our lives — no one seemed to be talking about the details that matter most: the weight of a duvet, the loft of a pillow, the quiet difference between rest and true restoration.

So we started DownHaus. To bring the same craftsmanship, curation, and care we've always valued in design to the world of sleep.

Because the details matter. Comfort matters. And you deserve to sleep beautifully.
